What do you do at Hideaway Church?
My primary responsibilities are to work with a team of volunteers and the
pastoral staff to facilitate congregational worship each week and to
provide support for all things related to music and worship in the church.
How long have you been on staff here?
My family and I came to Hideaway in April of 2013.
Where I grew up:
I was born in McAllen, TX, but grew up in Houston, went to college in Waco.
What schools did you attend:
I attended Memorial High School in Houston and Baylor University in Waco
before graduating from seminary in Ft. Worth.

My wife Deborah and I have four children… Paul (28), Jon (25), Rebecca
(17), Sarah (13)
On living in Hideaway:
My family and I have been coming to Hideaway for over 20 years for family
reunions at the home of my aunt and uncle who live here, but we never
imagined God would call us to plant our lives here. We love it here!
What do you enjoy most to recharge?
Time with family, good conversations with friends, developing friendships
with people outside of the church, reading, journaling, travel
